Mumbai, April 17, 2009: Datamatics Global Services Limited (BSE: 532528; NSE: "DATAMATICS") has announced that Dr. Chandra Mauli Dwivedi has been named as President and Global HR Head.
Reporting to Rahul Kanodia, Vice Chairman and CEO, Datamatics Global Services, Dr. Dwivedi will be responsible for all people initiatives at Datamatics globally.
"The organization is passing through an exciting phase. We completed the amalgamation of two Group companies early this year and are in the midst of a global economic slowdown. Dr. Dwivedi's global experience and knowledge of people processes and his leadership abilities will drive our growth into the future," said Kanodia. A Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology, Dr. Dwivedi also holds a P.G. Diploma in Guidance & Counseling and is a trained Lead Assessor of SEI P-CMM. He has 25 years of professional experience in the areas of Human Resource Management in leading organizations.
Prior to joining Datamatics Global Services, Dr. Dwivedi was Group Head – Human Resources with Financial Technologies Group. Dr. Dwivedi was associated with Datamatics Group as Senior Vice President and Head – Corporate HRD from July 1997 to Jan 2007.
Dr. Dwivedi has been awarded with many prestigious awards – India’s Greatest HR Professional by the World HRD Congress, Global HR Excellence Award, Super Achiever Award and the Young Scientist Award from the Government of India.
Dr. Dwivedi is also a Ph.D. guide and a Member of Board of Studies – Mumbai University. He is a member of the governing councils of leading business schools and universities in India, and has been active in various HR networks and industry forums like CII, FICCI, NIPM and BMA. Dr. Dwivedi had assumed the position of President of HR Infotech Association, a leading HR professional networks for IT / ITES Companies and is is currently the President of one of the Rotary Club under Rotary International.
