Datamatics Global Services Ltd. (DGSL), a global IT, Consulting, BPM, and Data Management Company, in association with the Market Research Society of India (MRSI) and global MR association, ESOMAR announced the 6th edition of Dr. Lalit Kanodia Laureate Award for Technology Excellence in Market Research 2019. The award acknowledges and rewards innovators who have made significant technology-led efforts within the market research industry processes to enhance the quality of consumer insights.
Among the several applications received, Crownit, Kantar, and Hindustan Unilever were the final shortlisted applicants. Crownit won the award for its "Eagle Live" application. Crownit's Eagle Live solution help clients connect to consumers in real-time for qualitative research across 40+ cities in India. Eagle Live application captures data via smartphone of respondents, connects to researchers, moderators, and brand managers for video interviews, focus group discussions, etc. Crownit is now working on emotion analysis and video bots for Eagle Live.
The nominations shortlisted by an independent jury comprising industry experts. The selections are based on multiple pre-defined criteria such as uniqueness, relevance, quality of the solution; however, the most important criteria is that the solution should already be functional and operational.
